The Dolphin Encounter + Garrafon Natural Reef Park program allows you to enjoy two incredible experiences in two different locations. At Dolphin Discovery – Isla Mujeres, you’ll be able to pet and play with our friendly dolphins in their beautiful turquoise-water natural habitat. The Dolphin Encounter program welcomes participants of all ages, making it the perfect plan for a family or friends’ vacation. It also promotes awareness about environmental conservation.
But that’s only the first experience… the adventure continues! At Garrafon Natural Reef Park, you’ll experience nature from a whole new perspective. If you’re feeling curious, enjoy snorkeling over one of Cancun’s most beautiful coral reefs and discover the marine life that surrounds it. If you’re feeling more energetic, you can go kayaking on the breathtaking turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Participation Tax for Activities with Aquatic Animals (ISEPAAA): $3 USD. Children under 5 are exempt.
Additional Information
You must arrive at Playa Langosta at 8:00 am for check-in.
Do not include infants under 6 years old in your reservation; they are free but must be added in the comments section.
Children over 4.6 ft may participate alone in any program by paying the adult rate.
Children 3.9 ft to 4.6 ft may participate alone in the Encounter program.
Children 3.3 ft to 3.9 ft may participate in the Encounter program accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per child).
Children under 3.3 ft are considered infants and will perform Encounter activities (life jacket must fit properly).
For safety reasons, cameras are not allowed in the water. Professional photos will be available for purchase.
Maximum 16 people per group for a better experience.
Life jackets are mandatory in all water programs.
To snorkel, participants must be at least 3.9 ft tall.
Alcoholic beverages are for adults only.
Activities with marine mammals are subject to the ISEPAAA tax of $3 USD per person (ages 6+).
Quintana Roo residents are exempt from this tax.
Funds collected go directly toward the protection of marine species in Quintana Roo.
Recommendations
Bring towels and cash for taxis, shopping, meals, etc.
Pregnant women of 5 months or more cannot participate in aquatic programs.
Pregnant women under 5 months may participate only in the Encounter program, accompanied by another adult and after signing a waiver.
If you have any health or physical condition, contact the call center before booking.
Arrive 30 minutes before your program; you will receive a brief orientation before swimming.
Use biodegradable sunscreen to protect your skin, the environment, and marine species.
There is no parking available at Playa Langosta; plan accordingly if arriving on your own.
